I purchased this so my baby chicks could have “recess time” in the yard. My chicks are currently 3 weeks old so they are learning how to jump and flap their wings so I needed a “play pen” that was tall enough. This pen exceeded my expectations! I would recommend buying two if using for chicks or bigger pets, but it’s perfect for small pets! Very sturdy and super easy to put together, just align the hooks into the holes. Definitely worth the price!

Gerbils cannot climb due to vertical bars. Big enough to sit by and watch them but I don’t see any reason why two sets couldn’t be joined together. Excellent product!

This is the most adorable and practical play pen for baby bunnies. My daughter enjoys putting the bunnies outside in the play pen so they can eat the grass. Wonderful product.

Perfect size! This is for a run space to set up daily and it folds away easy so I can take down quick. It’s nice to have a simple product do what it’s supposed to do! If I need a bigger space I’d buy a second.

Easy easy easy. Simple to put together, simple to store. Baby guinea pigs just needed an extra spot to chill out inside/outside and this is portable, and kid friendly to use. Easy to hook a water bottle up to, and for indoor use just throw a waterproof mat underneath!

These pens worked perfectly for keeping my hen and her chicks protected and safe while waiting for the chicks to grow to the point they could be safely introduced into the main flock. The pens were easy to set up, fold, and move. Sturdy and heavy enough they did not move, wobble, or tip over. The bars were also close enough together to not allow the chicks to pass through. I could find no other pen with this important feature. Thank you!

Me quedó súper bien para lo que la necesitaba.La uso para las tres cachorritas de french poodle que tuvo mi perrita y quedó perfecta en tamaño, forma y color.El material es bueno y bonito.Es para mascotas pequeñas, no lo recomiendo para mascotas grandes porque la pueden tirar o saltar.Pero para lo que yo necesité, era justo lo que quería.

I want to start off by saying that this is a very sturdy, reliable playpen with a great weight that will not disappoint in quality. It was everything I was wanting, except for the size. The description says that the playpen is 9 sq. ft., which would be PERFECT for 2-3 guinea pigs. (depending on gender) It's made by Midwest, which also makes a veterinarian recommended cage for guinea pigs that measures in 8 sq. ft. When I ordered this playpen I was expecting to receive one that was 1 sq. ft. larger than their current cage, so they'd have a bigger space to run around in during play time. I would say that this playpen is closer to 5, maybe even 4.5 sq. ft. once you set it up. It's definitely smaller than their Midwest cage, and it doesn't give them the extra space they advertise. I REALLY wish it was the advertised size, because I would've given it a perfect score and been very enthusiastic about my purchase! That picture shows my two baby guinea pigs (one 9mo, one 3wk) playing in the playpen.UPDATE: I contacted MidWest directly via email and they issued me another playpen for free to make up for the lack of space with just one. It took about two weeks to get in, but all I had to do was send them a purchase confirmation and my address. I was so happy with how simple the entire process was! Now that I've connected two of them, it's the perfect size/space for my two guinea pigs. I'm sure that it is even big enough for 3-5 guinea pigs. (Depending on male/female.) The connected space is well over 9 sq.ft. I stand by what I said as far as quality goes, and considering how easy it was to get the additional playpen to make up for the smaller-than-advertised space, I'd definitely recommend if you're willing to go that route. To be honest, I still have no idea how the single one can be so small, but the additional one makes a HUGE difference. It's unreal, but included is a picture.

I bought this play pen for my Yorkie puppy who is 11 weeks old. He is small but he was still able to hop over. At first it was a struggle because there are no horizontal bars to give him leverage. This play pen is not tall at all and I would not recommend it for pets who can easily climb over things. It is sturdy and shipped within 2 days. It is convenient because it doesn't take up much space but it is also tight on space for my dog. I can fit his bed, water and food bowl, and his potty pad but there is no room to play after all of that. Otherwise, it would be great for much smaller animals.

Perfect playpen for my two boys Calvin and Kuyper (Russian Dwarf hamsters). I was worried that they may be small enough to squeeze through the bars but the sizing of the bars is perfect for them. I can fit a lot of toys into the playpen, and it folds up easily when I want to put it away (I recommend keeping the box it comes it because it fits perfectly back into it whenever you want to clean up. It is also large enough for me to sit inside the playpen and still have room for a hideout, a wheel, water bottle, and food bowl (I am 5 ft 3 inches tall and 60kg, my husband can also fit into it at 5 foot 11inches and 75kg, though he cannot add as many toys and cannot sit cross legged inside, he needs to kneel). I try to give my boys an hour outside of their cage everyday with new toys and chews. They also have a play tank but I prefer the playpen because I can pull it out whenever I want, whereas the play tank takes up permanent room in my house.
