These bad boys do the job. I use for cutting round downspout. Easy for aluminum. I make pilot hole for copper n bonderize

I felt anxious about repairing my house downspouts, not knowing how best to cut to length the soft aluminum sections. I hesitated to purchase these, trying to keep project costs down. Wow, so thankful I did. I was able to repair and upgrade my downspout sections on my Hip-Roof house along with the crimper model that goes with this. Last but not least these are (100%) American made by an old and established (surviving) manufacturer out of American steel.

GAME CHANGER!These snips totally elevated my productivity when installing down pipes - we do exterior renovations so a lot of gutters, which means a lot of new down pipes to cut and install. Typically we'd use a straight blade and puncture the downpipe like a single direction saw, very time consuming. These snips cut my time well over half! The cut length is a bit small but that's my only complaint.I love Midwest tools and these were a happy addition to my pouch.

I love this product. It says it’s used for lighter gauge metal but I use this thing on spiral duct on commercial jobs and it does a great job. Comes in really handy when you are in a pinch and need to trim down some spiral. It’s pricey. I have all Midwest snips and hand tools and I kind of expected it to be bigger. I’d like to see a more heavy duty pair but I recommend these to all sheet metal trades people.

This product is crap. I have 1 of the original pairs with the yellow grip, great tool, this 1 is not. I bought 2 wish I did not. Save your money and buy something that works
