This was supposed to swivel and the small magnet that held the rotating piece would not stay on. Just sent it back. Was a nice looking piece but wanted the swivel

I was tired of replacing cheep plastic card trays that I kept breaking(because I dropped them). When I found this one I thought my search was over. I didn't even bother reading the reviews (BIG mistake). Not only was the one I received defective (the magnet was recessed so deep into the wood there was no possibility of it clinging to the round base), But the design was poor. Magnets don't normally rotate the way this was expected.

all the other plastic ones i purchased broke, so i spent a little more and got this one, excellent heavy duty, hasnt broke yet.

The magnets on the bottom don’t hold the disk and carrier together at all. Some of the sides weren’t square to each other or the corners themselves weren't clean.

This product is decent, I wasn't expecting high quality anyway. My issue is that it's two magnets that put a round piece of wood on the bottom and there is literally no way this would rotate. I didn't care that much about rotating but be aware it won't. I plan to add some felt to the bottom so it can slide around the hard surface card table
