It took me a while to get the drift that a single 12v Mighty Max would work for the Neuton CE6 mower ONLY IF IT IS COMBINED WITH TWO MORE IDENTICAL 12V MIGHTY MAX BATTERIES to yield a total of 36 volts. In 11 years of use, I had not bothered to discover that the 36 volt Duracell "battery" that was shipped with the new Neuton mower I bought in 2010 was actually a Duracell plastic cover concealing three individual 12v batteries, each just like the 12v Mighty Max. So if you have a Neuton CE6 mower, buy three new Mighty Max batteries and put them in the old Duracell package with the old wiring to replace your three dead 12v batteries. Simple, easy, possibly a 10-minute job. And it works.

Ordering was easy and as an added benefit the product came with free shipping. Very nice indeed! I installed the batteries, charged them and then used them in the mower to cut both the front and back lawns with power to spare. So nice! I would recommend these batteries to any diyr. This is promoted as an alternative battery for a Neuton CE6 battery powered lawnmower. The standard battery for the mower is 36V, and has a simple port to charge with the recommended battery charger, and the main drawback is that it is north of $100, and will set you back another $20 for shipping. Lasts 3 to 5 years with reasonable care. This Mighty Max battery is 12V. It may be possible that 3 of them connected in series would work, but then once you used extra wiring required, you would have to use extra precautions against the vibrations and bumps experienced when mowing a lawn. And then there's the rub about how to connect it to a proper charger.The standard battery, made by Duracell, is fully enclosed, waterproofed, and made for the Neuton exclusively. Even has a cover for the port for the charging of the battery. Mighty Max is advertised as a replacement for the Neuton. It is NOT, and won't work.
