I recently added a soft starter to our 5-ton Goodman condenser. I needed a new contactor that had large terminals for 8-10 AWG at both ends and this Migro unit fit the bill. Of course, it has the spade terminals for the other connections to the system. High quality device and fits perfectly in OEM location.

Perfect replacement for the worn contactor on my AC unit. Took 10 minutes to replace and back up and running as expected.

Easy to install. Just swap wires from old contactor to same terminals on the new one. Good quality at a good price.

The Products Unlimited contactor in my old 1995 Nordyne/Miller A/C (Model PIRA-048K) failed when the contacts stuck closed. This caused the compressor to run even when the indoor thermostat was supposed to turn the unit off. The result was ice on the compressor and ice clogging the evaporator. It was time to replace the 25-year old contactor.Installation of the new Migro contactor was relatively easy except for two minor problems. As shown in the attached photos, the old contactor had lug terminals for connecting the 220 VAC mains (L1 and L2) but had ring terminals on the lines for the compressor. fan and blower (T1 and T2). Also, the holes in the lug terminals of the old contactor were larger than those on the new one.Not wanting to cut off the ring terminations, and stripping the wires to fit in the lug terminals, I carefully bent the rings so they would fit in the lugs for T1 and T2. On L1 and L2, the small lug holes made it difficult to insert the pairs of large gauge wires but I finally managed to squeeze them down to where they could be inserted. If I had to do it over, I would probably have used a Dremel tool, for example, to enlarge the holes. The holes in the mounting plate of the Migro matched those of the old contactor so there was no problem attaching the Migro to the A/C unit wall. The new contactor has been working perfectly for a month now. I particularly like the fact the contacts have a removable cover to prevent insects from getting between them. That is extremely important in my part of Florida that has a growing infestation of Caribbean crazy ants that seem to be drawn toward electrical equipment.
