The vacuum barb was snapped off when it arrived, so my carb has no fuel pumping capability. Most poorly packaged item I’ve received from Amazon. All the packing material was placed in the box first, then the carb was just placed on top, then box was taped shut. The support number provided was that of MIKUNI itself, not the seller. So the seller sent me a product that was broken, then didn’t even provide their number, but Mikuni’s actual number. I hen I talked to the guy in the Mikuni warehouse, he was super cool and sent me a replacement pump cover, just to help me get my seadoo on the water. He informed mw Mikuni does not sell on Amazon. One of their distributors does. The distributor who I bought from on their Amazon storefront didn’t even give me their number. Just a shady way of doing business. Otherwise the carb works now that I repaired it. This is a Yamaha carb I’m told, but I adapated it on my 1999 Seadoo SP.

this carb will work on seadoo 580. you have to swop original choke and throttle links from old carb. be prepared for the screws that hold the choke flap to strip. I ended up drilling them out to fully remove the choke shaft and linkage. the throttle is just one simple 10mm nut. ski runs fantastic with updated carb but was not a "out of the box" application. definitely would buy again.

This carb is exaclty as advertised and fit perfectly into my WaveRunner. The quality was good and I had no problems with it at all. Even the adjustment was almost dead on and the WaveRunner runs so much smoother now with much more power.The service and fast shipping by the vendor was also a very pleasant surprise. It was at my door in 3 days with a note to contact the vendor if I had any problems. Not too bad!I would definately recommend buying these carbs from this vendor, especially for the grat Amazon price. ($50 less than anywhere else I could find on the web).
