I got this because I like to build CBG type instruments. This set is a complete acoustic preamp assembly. The one I got looks just like the pictures. I'm a little puzzled by the Yamaha branding on it. Also, the description is misleading, as I don't see any evidence of built-in reverb, chorus, or delay effects. Perhaps the description copy refers to another product. The parts all fit together well. The only trouble I had was that the battery box was hard to open at first, but after that it was easy to remove and insert.
