I bought this thing over 2 years ago. It’s used every day, 2-5 times per day. It has never failed. Easy to clean. Would HIGHLY recommend.

There are a few things I like about this kettle. It boils water, has an auto shutoff, and holds a good volume of water. The outside of the kettle stays cool to the touch - a first on any kettle I've owned. This is a great feature.Previous kettles have had a water guage on the outside. This kettle doesn't. I miss the guage This is something to consider when making a buying decision. (I knew this when I bought it so so deduction in rating.)The two star disappointment is, after less that two months, some pitting around the top edge of the kettle. This gives me concern about long term durability. Additionally there is a brand logo on the kettle that does not appear in the Amazon pictures.EDIT: After reading my review, the vendor contacted me. I've increased my rating to four stars for the vendors customer service and ensuring that I am a happy customer. I am.I will also reiterate my most like features of this kettle: the outside doesn't get hot and the capacity is more than adequate. It boils quickly.Edit 3/29/23. Ten months after purchasing this kettle, the auto shut-off is malfunctioning. It may or may not disengage when the water stops boiling. If it doesn't disengage, it will randomly start boiling again. Less than a year's use is unacceptable.
