Used to be... The picture used is a copy of the original comb but it has been distorted to sort of look like a newer version. This new Millers Forge Handled Flea Comb has a shorter tine area and the handle is so thick (guessing is supposed to be ergonomic. You need an ergonomic flea comb handle??) as to 1- be less comfortable when trying to use it and 2- to be more difficult to comb close AND a shorter tine sweet spot.I've always been critical of the tines bending and if not removed they dig into your pet's skin but I would welcome the old version now. This one is a TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. Sorry Millers Forge, I've been buying and using your handles flea comb for 15+ years but these are USELESS.

I use this comb to help get ear glue off my shelties, so I need a little comb. This comb is bulky and not what I wanted. I'll probably end up donating it or giving it to a friend.

Returned- the picture is of the old design (what I thought I was getting) sent new design witch has a bigger handle and smaller comb area

The handle and where the tines are is rounded which makes it more difficult to capture the fleas. And it also has quite short tines making it less effective on a thicker/longer coat. I think the original flea comb design I used when I was a dog groomer is much more effective.

This is an excellent flea comb, especially for a short-haired cat. The metal teeth are the perfect size to catch those pesky fleas. The handle is quite comfortable. My cat seems to enjoy being combed. I highly recommend this product. I bought my neighbor one, and she has sung its praises as well.

My cats love this comb - they come running when I bring it out. Even though they are given flea treatments each month, this comb is terrific grooming tool.

The teeth on this comb are very close together and help a lot in getting rid of the fleas.Definitely a bargain!
