Fitting came with broken box, and all damaged fitting. I got already used fittings.I thought just colored part got scratches while getting delivered, but when used they are leaking.

Critical for HVLP paint guns is the larger flow. Quality is for sure higher than the big box store fittings. Bought in bulk ( converted my entire shop) very inexpensive.

The couplers and connectors utilize aluminum and wear down very quickly. The male connectors are so soft that the ball bearings inside of the disconnect are wearing dents into them and preventing the hose from being able to swivel on it. The disconnects use a rubber oring internally to create a seal and they can be damaged if the connector isn't inserted squarely. If you happen to drop your air tool even just a little bit the connectors will bend and deform and no longer seal properly. These might be fine for paint gun use only, but sanders/impacts/air ratchets put too much stress on them and wear them out quickly. Aluminum is a poor choice of materials for this type of item.

I love these Milton Colorfit air connectors so much, I have changed all my fitting and connectors to these. Love the push to connect as opposed to my older ones and having to pull back on the collar and push male into them. Plus you can have different colors for oiled and or moisture free lines for the different needs of your air tools. Time will tell on the longevity of them but the female connectors are beefy. I have replaced all my connectors, approximately 14, and all my air tools and no air leaks at pressure for several days as a test. Highly recommend these for the DIY peeps for daily use. I don't have enough use at this time for a recommendation for industrial use, but think they would perform there also.

Great product and the flow, you don’t know what your missing until you try these, only complaint, wish the end was steel not aluminum, as with all hoses the ends mark up when dropped on concrete, but awesome purchase either way

It is probably apparent to most other people but I didn't think about having to switch all my fittings to highflow. Regular (non-highflow) male fittings work but they will leak when plugged into the highflow females. Male highflows won't fit into standard female fittings. So I can convert all my air tools, blowers, nail guns, sanders, etc to highflow which would mean I can't use them with anyone elses air supply or just use these in a specific location for my air guns. Still working this out. These are good connectors and I really like that they lock open so you simply push the male fitting in without having to pull the collar back.

Really like the new ColorFit high flow couplings by Milton. Differentiates them from the Style M couplers. Much higher flow than typical M style couplers. Easy to use. A real quality product. Highly recommended.

I know what you're thinking: The 70% more air claim is BS, and so what if it isn't, right? WRONG! I used cheapo couplers and could never get more than 110-120 lb-ft from an impact wrench rated at 660 lb-ft. Installed these and the matching plugs and now it easily pulls 200 (which is the tightest nut I have). I can't think of any air tool that wouldn't benefit from these. The spray pattern on my HVLP paint gun is much improved, too. Pressure alone won't work a tool worth a damn without volume, and with a full 1/4 inch bore, these couplers and plugs will deliver that volume.You can use these couplers with standard cheapo plugs for tire inflation or tools that don't use a lot of air, but the matching purple plugs alone won't see any benefit without installing the V-type couplers.The collars are spring-loaded, so all you have to do is jam the plug in and the coupler will snap closed. You only have to pull the collar back when disengaging the line or tool. Engagement is positive, low effort and not leaky. Compressor tank holds pressure overnight.With the multi-pack you can upgrade all your air lines and tools at once. Do it, it's worth the money to be able to get the full potential from your tools.Time will tell how the plugs hold up. They are aluminum not steel.

Time will tell over the long haul.... But they are tight... not even a whisper of a leak. Easy to lock on...Better air flow... tools have more power... Well worth the little extra money>I was replacing the "standard" type Home depot fitting 2-4 times a year and even new they would leak some.Update... I switched my entire shop over to these and nearly every fitting was leaking in a month. Waste of money. A cpl of them leak with nothing in them.... nearly all leak when connected.. some really bad, Ill be changing back. Complete waste of money.
