This tool came new and had never been opened before I received it. I had a minor problem with the lock pin that engages the gear to hold the grinding wheel for removal. I called Milwaukee to have it repaired under warranty. They told me they did not warranty any tools purchased from Amazon or EBay. I took the head apart myself and luckily fixed it myself for nothing. If it had been a major problem I would have been out of luck. The guy at Milwaukee said I need to buy my tools from Lowe’s or Home Depot. So, BEWARE, if you buy one here or on EBay you don’t have a warranty even though they are new!
