Markings state 10x2.70-6.5 which match exactly the tire I replaced, but these are wider and I cannot get both to seat in the bead. One does, the other sticks out of the rim by about a quarter inch.

These tires aren't made bad & they will hold up to anything. I put them on my escooter that has good aftermarket suspension I put on, & I was going from air filled tires. These are heavier & a much harder ride. But that's always going to be the sacrifice for never getting another flat tire. I've also found that these hard tires don't measure exactly what they claim. But these were closer than many others I've tested & seen. There is a market for these tires. I am lucky enough to have split rims making the install way easier. But I give these decent markings for the quality. Just realize they aren't going to be as soft as air filled tires.

I envisioned this as the long term solution when my pneumatic tires reach the end of their life. I got a rock stuck in the mud guard that wore away the rubber of the originals so I found these. With the originals in jeopardy, the need for a product like this became dire. I am so glad these exist!I can say that the product seems to be very durable and I did some preliminary testing for grip. They are a bear to install, so I'm not going to be wasteful and replace them too early. I've done some functional bench testing. I noticed that the grip is not as good as the air filled OEM tires, but they won't last forever like these can. I've never had a flat tire, but I also know I can't ever get a flat with these. Also, I prefer the more aggressive "off-road" traction pattern. Note that these are replacements for the 10" wide tires, not the 8" ones that are so popular. I got those for a Hiboy Max3.

Typically the biggest issue with new solid tires is the installation. There are a number of ways to tackle installation and I'll show you the way I go at it. Note that these photos are of solid tire installation on a hoverboard hub motor so your particular situation may be different and this approach may not be ideal for you. First photo shows what you'll need: blocks to hold the wheel off the work surface, four "squeeze" type clamps, and a mix of dish soap and water (only a few drops of soap needed). Coat the inside of the tire and outside of the rim or hub with the soap solution. Second photo - place the rim/hup up on blocks and place the tire squarely over the rim/hub. Do NOT start any one edge of the tire. The trick is for the tire to sit absolutely level on top of the rim. Place the four clamps evenly around the rim and tire. The bottom of each clamp should contact the rim and the top of each clamp should contact the tire. Clamp very loose at first putting little of no pressure on the tire...just enough to hold the clamp in place. Photo three shows the inner surface of the solid tire and how it is set even on the hub. Now go around the wheel tightening each clamp just a small squeeze at a time. The goal is to keep an even amount of pressure all the way around the tire. Keep moving around the tire squeezing each clamp just a bit until you hear/feel the edge of the tire pop over the leading edge of the hub. Then just keep moving around the tire from clamp to clamp slowly squeezing the tire down over the hub while still keeping it as level as possible. Photo shows the tire about half way on and the last photo show the tire fully on the rim/hub. Hope this helps those who have similar rims or hubs.

After numerous expeditions and me returning home thudding on a flat tire… I decided to finally upgrade ! These tires are nice. Installation isn’t too hard. Boil these babies for a while and finesse them onto scooter motor :) you may need longer bolts to connect wheel back together

These are very high quality, well made tires, but they're a pain to get on.
