This is advertised as NPT. It is NOT tapered, it is NST. This is a straight thread. Im returning for refund.

These are not a standard taper pipe plug, they have straight threads and do not seal in a pipe thread application. Would not purchase these again.

I bough the set to plug holes on an aluminium intake manifold on a small block chevy. They seem to be cut decent enough and they fit alright, but seem fairly cheap in metal comp. and might have problems under pressure.

These fittings will not seal in tapered pipe fittings because the threads are not tapered. These are just ordinary cylindrical threads. I even tried wrapping eight layers of teflon tape around them and still could not get them to seal in the fittings. They're junk.
