Died after 8 months. I was using them indoors, not even daily or for more than a couple hours at a time. The lighting options were bad anyway, the multi colored options randomized every time and looked awful. Don’t waste your money, buy lights that last.

Longer than I expected! Lots of colors, looks super cute, remote works great as long as it’s pointing at the plug in. Only complaint is I wish there was a dimmer to adjust the brightness a little higher, but otherwise, LOVE.

Update: bumping up my stars since customer service was pretty great. They reached out to get more details about my review and processed a refund. These lights have some really nice color combinations when set to 'auto' (e.g. pastels, autumnal)...if there was the capability to pause the cycle and stay on a certain look, that would be awesome....I'll keep an eye out for future versions!

The Good:These lights are adorable and they were available at a great price. I ordered these August 28th of 2024 and these lights are still fully functional. Therefore their lifespan has been almost 6 months so far. They’re easy to setup and the remote control adds convenience.One Wish: I often wish the cords themselves to these fairy lights were thicker and more substantial. However, as long as they hold up and don’t snap into after a few months of use or short out - I’m fine with it.The Mildly Negative:My 13 year old and I have only one complaint about these lights. Please let me stress that our gripe WILL NOT apply to everyone! My children and I have ASD and as such we seem to have hyper sensitive hearing. Thusly sometimes electronics have high pitch buzzing, ringing, electrical frequency sounds that most people don’t notice or hear. If you happen to be an individual that has hyper sensitive hearing then these may not be something you want in a quite space, such as a bedroom. If there are other sources of sound then you may not notice the sound. I should note that we have discovered that only certain flashing patterns selected emit the electrical frequency noise. When you choose a static option with the L.E.D. bulbs, there is not as intense of a sound. It’s definitely the oscillating effect and blinking that predominantly causes the noise. Again, this won’t be a matter to I’d reckon 75% or higher of the average population. Most people I’ve known never hear the sounds that can drive me bonkers.TLDR:We’ve owned these lights for approximately 6 months and they’re still fully functional. We appreciate the remote and multiple options for colors and blinking/oscillating patterns. Wish the cord themselves L.E.D. bulbs are one was thicker. If you’re an individual with hypersensitive hearing & you can hear electrical frequency sounds emitting from items plugged in, these may drive you bonkers in an otherwise silent room. We will still buy an additional set of these lights for use in any room other than my or my child’s bedroom as they use them as a nightlight. Hope this helps.

I rarely take the time to write a review, but these stars are so awesome that I had to review them. They have SO MANY COLORS AND PATTERNS to choose from on the remote! We have them on our Christmas tree, but you could use these all year round. I think they would be great for parties and birthdays. There is also a red, white, and blue option for the 4th of July. I think we will put them out on our patio after Christmas. I may even buy a 3rd set! My husband keeps raving about them. Give them a try, I think you will love them.

Amazon: "your package is 1 stop away"Me: *goes out front to wait for it*Driver: *hands me a 4"x4"box*Me thinking "yeah right this is 70 ft of lights"Well. It is! This is a no-frills (no remote, no different settings, and not connectable to additional strands), excellent set of fairy lights. I installed these on my balcony and they're perfect.Word to the wise, after getting over your shock that this tiny box actually DOES contain what it's supposed to, do not, I repeat, DO.NOT. undo all the twist ties at the same time. It comes very in two very nicely coiled sections that are individally twist tied and then tied together for shipping. If I had been thinking, I would have only undone one section at a time to keep from having copper wire all over and having things accidentally tangle. It's a good thing my neighbors know me because I used being on the 3rd floor to my advantage and straighted them out by putting them over the edge of the balcony as I untangled them. It went all the way to the ground. Here's hoping no one was actually home while I was doing this!The lightweight wire bends and folds well, but do expect it to have some "bounce back" if nothing is holding it down because of how light it is.The light tone itself is something in between "ice cold blue" and "warm", even though the description says warm. I have "fancy" (have remotes, different settings, are connectable) copper wire fairy lights in a few place in my house and they are definitely much "warmer" toned light than these, (A different brand) but for my purpose of illuminating my balcony without attracting bugs to the wall scone light next to the door, the color isn't offensive and IS quite bright. The picture above does make the light tone is warmer than it is.Very pleased with purchase!
