I had no trouble snapping this set of landing legs to my Mini 4K (same size as Mini 2 SE). Without landing gear like this the rear props in particular can sit very close to the ground--if you're on grass or gravel the blades can easily get banged or tangled up. With this gear the drone sits high enough that prop strikes on takeoff or landing are a lot less likely. They come off easily, too.In case you don't know it: Adding this landing gear (or prop guards or just about anything else, even if only a few grams worth of gear, to a Mini-series drone will usually cause the drone to automatically go into "Payload mode," which will limit altitude, range and speed. You can go into advanced settings to turn off Payload mode and remove those limitations. In addition, you'll be over 250grams, which in the U.S. means you have to register the drone and get a remote ID module, if you want to be legal.

My opinion is mixed on this item.The landing gear fits my DJI Mini 2 SE snugly and it won't come off while flying. It felt kind of flimsy when I took it out of the box, but once I snapped it on the drone it felt much sturdier. It does lift the drone about an inch and a quarter above the ground and it seems well balanced on the drone.All of that said, there are a few issues. While it's pretty light weight, it's heavy enough to push the Mini 2 SE above 250 grams so you need to pass the part 107 exam to legally fly it in the US.My drone is set to auto-land when you make it descend toward the ground. This works fine with the landing gear when landing in the grass but it hits more solid surfaces, like a driveway, so hard that it actually bounces. I assume that's because the drone isn't aware the landing gear sticks down below its base.And finally, it's difficult to take on and off the drone. While that's a plus so it won't fall off during flight, it's a real pain when I want to remove it so my son can fly my drone (He has his TRUST certificate, but not his part 107). I actually pulled the bottom panel loose on my drone trying to get the landing gear off, see the picture.If you often take off and land from grass or sand, you've passed your 107 exam, and don't think you'll need to take the landing gear on and off very often it's probably a good product for you, if not I'd skip it.
