I'm using this circuit to extend UPS functionality to an outlet in my house. I simply rewired the existing AC feed to the 'City Power' input and the UPS feed to the 'Generator' input. The downstream outlet goes to the remaining connectors. If the 'City Power' goes down, the input switches over to 'Generator' instantly which is actually a battery inverter in my case.Cutover time is listed as 50ms, which is fast enough for most electronics to not even notice. My laptop and PoE switch can't tell since the power bricks they use act as a buffer.Note that this device expects to be mounted to a DIN rail. If you plan on mounting to a wall, you'll need an adapter (I 3D printed one). There are no mounting holes/tabs of any kind.The directions are not well translated and show pictures from multiple models. Operation is simple enough thought that anyone with basic electrical experience can figure it out. The operational logic always favors one input over the other and some may find the 'Solar' use case description confusing since it reverses the inputs to prefer solar over grid power. There are LEDs to indicate which input is active, which is a nice touch.Special note: My understanding is that you cannot put an electrical sub-panel into a typical 4' crawl space. For me, this is a problem since I want to run several circuits off my inverter (Fridge, Sump, etc) but not all circuits in my house. Not being able to use a panel would force me to rewire all of them as a single circuit (Also against code, and a bad idea). Using a few of these small transfer switches, I can back up several individual circuits with a common 15A breaker-protected feed. So long a total draw stays under the 15A limit, critical house systems can limp along when the grid goes out.I think the price is very reasonable for what you get, especially if you want to add external home-automation or solar controller inputs to control which input is active. Example: Change from grid to battery backup after sunset in order to use stored solar power. I'll be picking up more.

The volume is only 1/3 of the traditional converter, but it has more functions, supports automatic conversion mode and manual conversion mode, and is very convenient for rail installation. I also bought an electrical waterproof box from the IGEYAPA store, which can be used in combination.

After being installed with a household generator, it will automatically switch to the mains power supply within a moment after a power outage, and all the electrical appliances in the house will run smoothly.
