I am an avid bicyclist and try to ride as often as I can if the weather permits. Now that summer is here I am going to be riding several times a week and each ride of at least 20-30 miles. I have always wondered what would happen if I had a flat during a bike ride, especially when I am several miles away from my home or car. Flat fixing kits, unfortunately include battery-operated tire inflators which are usually bulky and add weight to the bicycle while riding.I got this mini bike pump to check if it would be light, and good to carry on my rides. I must say I am pleased with the way this pump looks and works. It is compact, fits on my bike easily, very light weight, so I don't feel any drag on my bike while riding. Operating the pump is easy and does not place too much pressure on my arm. Overall I would say it is a great accessory to carry around on my long bike rides.

This is a handy mini bike pump and accessories kit. Please see photos with review for box and contents you receive. The pump is around 22cm in length when fully retracted – so not quite small enough to fit in an average size under seat bag but plenty small and light enough to fit in backpack, top tube bag etc (still check dimensions before ordering though!).The pump, like most mini pumps, takes some time to pump up a bike tyre but if you are out on a ride and replace a tube or fix a puncture then you will be extremely glad to have this with you!Per photos with review pump also handily has a flexi hose if unlock top of pump by turning half a turn – this is handy for getting on valves where difficult to fix to with pump in straight locked position. The pump also comes with some accessories such as 2 x tyre levers, 2 x metal scour pads and a number of puncture repair tabs.A handy kit that for the casual cyclist I recommend.

Excellent mini-pump. First time I've used one of these and I'm very impressed. The main valve-outlets on the pump itself are for Schrader and Presta tire valves, the most common found on bikes. Simple pull the top of the pump with the valve holes outward and it extends on a small rubber tube, allowing you to best position it. Then you just clip the relevant hole over your bike valve (after removing the bike valve cover, obviously!) pull back on the level to lock it into place, then pump. Simple and effective.Comes with additional loose valve accesories for other styles of valve, and a handy strap accessory so you can fit it ti your bike frame. An excellent product. 5 stars.

Great little bike pump that mounts to bike and provides peace of mind and ease of use. I've used this a few times to fill various inflatable objects from bike tires, to balls, to an air mattress. While it doesn't have a pressure gauge on it, it still has shown its usefulness and will come in handy in case of flat emergency. The plastic head that clamps to the valve did get stuck on my valve a few times and has worn down a little bit inside, but not to the point where it will not work. I would suggest they make the head from a stronger polymer for the next version. If you need an affordable and lightweight travel pump, this is a great option.

If I could give this more stars I would. I actually already have one of these that I purchased for my girlfriend's bike, and it was better than the one I got for my own so I had to have another one. This is meant to be used as an emergency device, but it can be used as your only pump if you're a patient person. I put new tires on my bike with this, because I didn't have a proper floor pump at the time. It does take some doing to fully fill a tire from zero, but it isn't difficult, just time consuming. I pumped two tires to around 40psi with it and the little pump held up great. That was plenty of pressure to get me going while I waited on a full size pump to arrive. The size is just right, it easily fits in a frame bag, handle bar bag, or you can use the supplied bracket, screwed to a bottle cage mount. You can use it along with a cage as well, you simply put this under it.I did use the supplied tire pry bars when I changed my tires. They worked great, no problems at all. Tire pry bars really make life easier on your fingers when removing or putting a tire on a rim. This little guy is a steal for the price, and priceless when you need it.

Crammed into the box with this pump are a mounting bracket, a set of adapters for balls etc. and a puncture repair kit. All useful items and all small and light. If you fit this to your bike’s water-bottle mounts with the screws provided, you are not going to notice the weight.A useful feature of this pump is that it has two connectors for different sized tyre valves. In my youth bike tyres always had smaller valves than car tyres, but as time has gone by car valves seem to have taken over which makes sense, because car tyre inflators are found everywhere. This pump caters for both common sizes which, I learn from the listing, are called Presta & Schrader. I think the ones I was familiar with in the olden days are called Dunlop valves and I am not sure if this pump fits them. The valve connector is mounted on a flexible tube that telescopes back into the pump when it is not being used. It is a great design and better than the separate tubes that need screwing into the end of the pump before you can use them.To attach the connector to the valve requires a lever to be pulled up and after the valve is inserted, pressed back down again. I found this rather stiff to use. I appreciate the leverage might be necessary to get a good air-tight seal, but some people might find it difficult. As mentioned earlier the pump is small and light. Being so, it doesn’t move much air and a lot of compressions are needed to fill a tyre. It is probably better suited to topping up, and for a pump designed to be carried on the bike this is most likely all it will be needed for. Also, as mentioned earlier, there are a number of adapters to enable the pump to inflate balls and the like. I note the listing suggests it could be used to blow up paddling pools, swimming rings and water play mats. I think this is being a bit optimistic; anything requiring a large volume of low pressure air to inflate it is not suited to this low volume high pressure pump. The included tyre repair kit seems to be an afterthought, but if it’s all you have with you when you get a puncture its presence will be much appreciated.

This is exactly as described. A simple, compact, bike pump. It's compact and lightweight, but does feel a little flimsy, but for the price (£12.99 at time of review) you really can't complain as it does the job of pumping up a tube perfect adequately and will certainly help if you need to do a tube change on the side of the road. It's nice that it also comes with a few other accessories, including a couple of little tyre levers and some self-adhesive puncture repair patches too.All round, a worthy option for a casual/occasional cyclist, but maybe not quite up to the dob for the keener/pro...

The pump works well, though you will still need a pressure gauge to know the pressure in your tires. The included mounting bracket is designed to screw into holes on the bike frame, so it is worthless on all other bike styles. The included tips for the pump, along with the patch kit with tire removal tools makes this a nearly complete kit, for on the go repairs.I discovered an issue with the pump, failing to fill an empty tube. The pump does not get enough, back pressure to switch to the proper valve when the tube is flat. I spent twenty minutes attempting to air up a new replacement tube with no success. If this pump was for only one type of valve, or if the valve was able to be selected, rather than relying on back pressure to determine where air is output through, it would work much better. Once the air pressure exceeds five PSI, the pump works, but anything less is a problem. This means that if you have a flat, you are going to have trouble airing up your tire after patching the tube. Now this could have been just my pump, but I made sure I had the head secure proper before starting, reattaching the head four times to confirm it was on properly.

Was looking for a small bike pump that supported Presta and Schrader valves that could be carried on a bike, and this seemed like a good solution. The bike pump is quite small, comes with a bracket that can mount in the standard water bottle screw mount (and still allow another mount on top), and is lightweight (pump + bracket is 4.4oz/125g). The valve adapter has an extendable hose to make attachment easier. It also comes with some self adhesive patches, an abrasion tool, two tire removal tools, and needles/valves to pump up other items.Using the pump is straight forward. Clamp the pump head to the valve (unlocking and extending the head if desired), hold the plastic grip near the head, and pump with the cylinder portion of the pump. Attaching and detaching was easy and leak free. The pump claims it supports up to 100psi, but I did not test that. It does get a bit harder to pump the higher pressure the tire. The pump seems reasonably well constructed for a lightweight pump and should be sufficient for emergency use. It does not have a cover for the head, so if you use the mount instead of storing it in a protected bag, you may want to check/clear the valve head before attempting to use.One improvement that could be made is that it is not easy to grip the cylinder of the pump in order to pump, unless you place your hand over the end of the pump cylinder. The plug on the end is softer rubber, so not too uncomfortable, but some knurling or anti-slip on the tube would help with pumping without the pressure point in your palm. Since the pump cylinder is so small, pumping all but the lowest volume tires would take some time, so this would be better suited for a road bike than the larger tires of a cruiser or mountain bike.I did not try the patch kit or the tire removal tools, but they appear that they should work in a pinch. Since the patches are adhesive, there is no glue to worry about, but I would worry that the patches may not stick/seal permanently. Enough to get you home without having to walk, but you may want to patch/replace the tube once you are back home.Pros:-Small and lightweight.-Comes with mount that can be stacked on a standard bottle mount.-Fits Schrader and Presta valves.-Comes with temporary patch kit and adapters for other inflatablesCons:-Very small air volume, so would be slow to pump up a tire.-Limited ability to grip for pumping.-Patch kit is for temporary, emergency use only. This pump is definitely not what you want to use if you are pumping up multiple tires. But if you are on the road and need a pump, it certainly beats walking. It would also be sufficient for topping up a tire that is just a bit low on air. It is lightweight enough that you would hardly notice carrying it along on any ride and the mount gives it a nice place to be stored if you don't have a bag. So, overall, for its intended purpose it hits the mark and if you are looking for a lightweight pump for emergency use, I would suggest giving this pump a try.
