Perfect especially for a woman , I had to replace some rotted wood in floor and laser light just adds to it. It works great and precision. I was gonna buy one of those real small one for much more money and I am glad I did not . Also seller had it delivered fast . Great tool for anyone

Excellent little saw, used it to cut out rotting deck on my boat. Got right into the tight spots and cut perfectly.You just can't go wrong with this little saw it will amaze you with it's versatility and power.

Laser dead after 5 minutes of use. Removing screw on top still unable to check/replace brand new battery! How can it be dead already. Just got the saw yesterday!

The laser beam is handy. However, don't think, as I did, that having a laser beam will make you cut straight. You must still use a guide! I was hoping that, being a circular saw with a blade size under 4", the wood cutting blade would have been thinner. The stubby yellow plastic lever that locks the plunge depth is upright in the engaged position. This, unfortunately, makes it easy to accidentally hit so that it is then disengaged, often without your noticing this. For this reason, I accidentally made gouges in the subfloor, when I only wished to cut the flooring away.BTW, the bolt holding the cutting blade has a left hand thread
