I don't understand what the point of this product is supposed to be. I was under the assumption it would be like a headphone amplifier but with added controls for the bass, treble. However in reality it makes any audio atleast 50% quieter (even with volume knob all the way up), while simultaneously ruining the audio quality. Any music played through this thing sounds kind of like it's being played through a paper towel tube, and as previously stated is far quieter than just plugging your audio source directly into the speakers without this thing at all. It also comes with no power adapter or cord for its 12V barrel jack. The 3 knobs certainly do their intended purpose, but the fact it wrecks the audio quality kind of makes that pointless. The button also makes no sense, when its not pressed no audio comes through, when it is pressed audio comes through but is super quiet and low quality.Really weird, this thing seemingly uses 12v power to downgrade and muffle your audio signal. If you've ever thought, "Man this song sounds great, I wish it was quieter and sounded worse" then maybe give this thing a go.

Definitely does give adequate tone control, the boost us nice too,but if you have an older turntable that requires a ground,there is no place to connect the ground to this results in a low frequency hum.
