Ordered this "cheek mic" to replace faulty one for my Pastor's wireless system. Works well, matched the existing system, no problems.

The sound from this mic is very good. It's not as good as a countryman, but it only costs a fraction of the price. My only complaint is that the headset is too loose. The material is too easily bent and shaped. The mic doesn't want to stay around my ear. When I get it to hold, the mic is either too close or too far away from my mouth. Once I make that adjustment, it messes up the hold around my ear and I have to start all over. Bottom line: it's a good cheap replacement, especially for occasional use, but probably not a great everyday option.

This headset microphone is excellent, it's very compact and easy to use. I like this one more than any of the other mics I have because my clients really like it.

The connector on this microphone is intended for Sennheiser lav kits that have the screw-on 3.5mm connector, but it will work fine with normal 3.5mm connectors and that's how I use this microphone.I tested this microphone plugged into a wireless lavalier kit and plugged into a USB/Bluetooth DAC and it worked fine in both cases. It is more comfortable than another headset microphone I have that hooks around both ears and goes behind your neck. This one will stay comfortably around one ear and it's even comfortable to wear with headphones on. Only after many hours of wear did I have to take it off to give my ear a break. The sound of this microphone is comparable to other wired lavalier microphones in that it will pick up noise in your environment but because it's placed close to your mouth, your voice will be prominent even with noise in the background. It sounds relatively flat; it's not overly warm or bright compared to most of my other similar microphones. I tend to prefer a warmer sound, but I didn't mind the sound of this microphone as it was pretty true to life in how it presents my voice. I also like that this microphone comes in this cocoa color as it matches up more closely with my own skin tone and is therefore just a little less noticeable on video calls, especially compared to the usual boom microphones on headsets.I appreciate that it comes with a clip and an extra microphone wind cover. The microphone doesn't necessarily look like it should cost $80, but it is a specific product and not a generic wired lavalier microphone. And compared to other lavaliers in the same price range, such as the Rode SmartLav+, I like this form factor for certain scenarios so I think it can be good to have both depending on the use case. And there really aren't many other options like this at any price, especially with the darker color. You can definitely pay a lot more for similar products from other better-known companies.
