Can’t maneuver this like you’d think and the spine will not go into a natural curve

I bought one last year August for my teaching. One of the bungee in the hip rotator cuff that held the joints broke in 4 months. I just bought another one in January 2023. I took the skeleton out of the box, one of the bungees on the shoulder joint broke this time. The spine of the skeleton is rigid, unable to bend sideways nor forward as shown in the website.

I've had this posable skeleton for years. It's fairly accurate (except for the usual problem of the distance between the ribcage and the pelvis being the length of the Mississippi riverIt's awesome that you can fold the arms and pose the spine. The skull is actually accurate and doesn't look like a rubber skull like many other models. All n all I'm very happy with it and would definitely recommend it.

Not very stable and difficult to make stand up right. Seems like it is going to topple over at all times.

I do not use this product for anatomical purposes clearly! It is a very nice product all the same. I did replace the standard limb connectors, as this particular one was to be moved frequently and the elastic does not hold (stretches, eventually breaks). I purchase the same version without flexible spine for stationary sculptures. They are identical except for price.Comes semi-assembled except for leg bones. Very simple to attach, nice range of motion, life-like. I am not a medical student, but it has great detail, i sturdy and is easy to remove from base. I glued my rod to the base, as it tends to loosen. when removing skeleton.

I love this so much! I'm a healthcare student so having an anatomically correct model was incredibly important, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra cost for the "flexible spine." It can bend but is actually pretty difficult to do so. Also because of this the spinal curves aren't present. It came with the spine completely straight and I can't get it to bend into correct spinal curves exactly. But overall I still love it.

Great little skeleton makes it easier for me to explain musculoskeletal pathologies right patients. Not very flexible though.

This model is adequate, but I had hoped for something a little more accurate.Pros:- the shoulder and hip joints are connected with elastic, so they articulate pretty well- the jaw is connected with something like a spring, so it articulates pretty well- the size is good for my small studio, and is fairly easily portable to take to workshopsCons:- the modeling of some areas isn't great - for example, the acromion process and clavicle are pretty crude.- the two pelvic halves and the sacrum are one molded piece- the elbow and knee joint attachments feel pretty flimsy- the hands and feet are one molded pieceAs noted, the scapulae are screwed into the ribs, so don't move. The spine is somewhat flexible, but it is quite stiff and difficult to move.In general, this feels expensive for the quality. However, my budget didn't stretch to a more accurate model :(
