It has a 3.5mm jack. If your phone or tablet doesn't have a microphone input to match, then you're out of luck.

This one does the job but don’t be fooled by the size in the sales photo. There are no dimensions even noted in the product specifications! This microphone is barely 2 inches long, so if you need something tiny with a long cord, this will do the trick. The 3.5 mm connection cables are fine and it records pretty well (the foam windscreen is a nice touch). But don’t expect a good value and a larger, easier to handle microphone that is implied in the photo illustration for the product listing. They should be up front about the size of this microphone.

I wasn’t expecting these to be so effective, but they are and they also come with cool accessories. I didn’t realize you can also turn it into a lava with the simple clip that is included in this set and there’s also a wind reduction, mic cover, which is also cool. In the picture, I included the kind of adapter that you’re gonna need. It’s a very cheap that you can get on Amazon here and just so that people know you will need adapters with this and preferably wired headphones to make it work. But the sound quality is really impressive and simple to use and people get excited when they see a tiny microphone. It’s easy to get interviews this way.
