I switched out projctors and the new one did not have the typical 4 screw hols to attach it to the ceiling mount we have sued for the past 5 or so years. They switched these new projectors to the single threaded screw hold that is the same as my Nikon camera. This mount does the trick.

Is it a functional mount? Yes. However the build is cheap and the pole that the projector us mounted to only has one small set screw keeping the pole attached to the base. This leads to the pole having play or wiggle room so when you actually install the projector is may tilt forwards or backwards. Also do not trust the mounting hardware / anchors that come included. The screws started working their way out of the anchors as soon as I started to mount and adjust the projector. I used my own hardware to mount it and it seems to be holding strong. If your projector has any heft to it you will probably want to find a better product

The package the product came in didn't have any screws or anchors. Waste of time and money.
