I purchased one of these in 2019 and liked it. I lost it when I moved, and was going to replace it. But I know exactly what this is. It is a piece of plastic on a stick. That is NOT worth $53. Since I moved, I have a couple of the metal bars used in clothes boxes. They work as well as this does, and I certainly didn't pay $53 for them.

Great product. Very well built and easy to use. Durable. This is better and safer than the hand method I used before. Expensive but it is so well built that I would pay the money. I plan on buying another for outside yard work debris.

I work in a gas station and customers throw away big bags or boxes since I don’t know what’s inside I cannot push it down with my hands, but this tool is amazing for its purpose it gets the job done

This item allows you to safely manually compact your garbage without fear of touching something unexpected and reduces trips to take out the garbage. Recommend tying used plastic garbage bags around the bottom to keep it clean.

My plant requires that all employees wash their hands prior to entering the facility. This leads to trashcans overflowing with paper towels that the custodians can't keep up with. The squash-it is great because it prevents our employees from sticking their hands into the trashcans to compress the paper towels and possibly being cut by a sharp.
