This rc "boat" is VERY small, but that information is provided so it's not a shock. It came on time as promised and intact.I have not yet used it as I am waiting to use it with my nephew. It's in a "can" about the size of a regular soda can and I'm looking forward to seeing how much fun it is for my nephew.I'm hoping it's "tiny but mighty" as they say! If there's any kind of problem or I'm not happy for some reason, I will come back and edit this review... if I don't, then we're loving it!

Very fun little boat! For its size it is very fast and holds a charge for a while. It can be a little finicky at first to get it going, you have to make sure the sensors are very wet. (Sometimes an air bubble gets on there and makes it not work).Great little toy and amazing for the price!

TESTINGFrom 100% charge, and with a boat constantly operating, one battery lasted 19m at full power. After that, I was able to continue running the boat for another 3m before it finally halted; but, forward/reverse didn't work on their own. All I could do was use forward in combination with left/right, which would nudge it forward in short bursts. The turn radius of this is larger than I'd have expected from such a small boat. This limits its use in a bathtub, in which I was mostly only able to circle the outside of the tub at full speed. The propellers extend out past the edges of the boat's sides causing them to scrape against the sides of the bathtub - too much of this will surely deteriorate the blades. So, I had to navigate with lots of short bursts and direction changes, and left/right quick nudges to avoid the tub sides. There is no speed control, only forward, left, and right at full speed. This can do a couple stunts... full 360° rotation (cork screw) in either direction and a vertical downward reverse pull. Neither of these would be all that noticeable in a larger body of water at a distance.CHARGINGFrom 0% to 100% charge, using a 3.1A USB charger, took ~29m. It drew only 5.04V / ~0.44A, reducing gradually after ~11m - see attached photo. It cannot be charged with a USB-C cable. USB-C cables require a request for power, while USB-A/B cables always provide power. This device does not make a power request, therefore you must use a USB-C USB-A cable (included) which handles this properly.WEIRDNESS- It doesn't make much sense that this has a rechargeable battery for the boat; but, not the remote. There's only one thing I hate more than battery covers that are held in place with screws, and that's ultra tiny screws. Fortunately, you don't need to remove the screw fully to remove the cover. The cover also closes fine without the screw, so feel free to remove it - it'll inevitably get lost anyway.- I don't know why this comes in a pop can case - it's weird and I'd go so far as to say, dumb. It's not obvious either how to open it. There's some very unobvious clear tape you need to remove and then the top comes off. Putting the top back on is problematic.- When I think of boats, I don't think of spiders.CONCERNS / CONCLUSIONThe boat has water sensors on the bottom and top that prevent it from operating unless it's in water. They unfortunately fail to work right at times, requiring it to be lifted out of the water and set back in. This limits where you can use this.Because it will often just stop working... use it in a small area of water. A swimming pool, where you can retrieve it more easily, is a good bet. Or alongside a kayak would work too. Otherwise, you're going to have to get wet.The USB-C port on the boat is open and does not come with a cover. The vendor indicated that they've tested this and it's not a problem. Notably, this product has no CSA/UL/ETL electrical certifications. I added a piece of tape over it just to be sure. It's very close to the top water sensor, so place it carefully if you do this.

It's small—about the size of a soda can—so it’s perfect for bathtub play. We’ve mainly used it during bath time, and it’s become his go-to toy while soaking in the tub over the past few days. The controls are easy enough for my child to manage on his own.Overall, a fun little gadget for the price. It’s not a high-speed racer, but for indoor water play, it’s been more than enough to keep my kid entertained.

It's so amazing how small this boat is and how powerful it is. Torpedoing through the water, this Spiderman inspired boat grabs the attention of all kids and well actually... all adults too! It's creatively packaged in a clear plastic soda can that makes a great gift presentation. The remote control has a convenient docking station for the boat, making it easier to keep the pieces together because anyone with kids knows how crazy things can get with toy parts floating around the house. You can tell the makers of this boat put a lot of thought into all aspects of this boat and the results are huge smiles by every kid that gets their hand on the remote control.

Fun little thing to play with! Tossed it in the pool and the kiddo was thrilled! The remote isn't really polished, the boat slightly curves left on a straight line and I wish it was a bit faster... but it's a hit with the 9yo! For the price, hard to complain too much! :)Note also that somehow it won't charge with my nice high-powered USB-C cables (that I charge my macbook with)... but it does with the supplied USB-A/C one... not sure why, but theirs works fine.

This is such an awesome tiny remote control boat! It's so tiny and comes in a can thats the size of a soda can, the boat itself fits inside your hand easily but don't let that fool you! This tiny thing is fast!! The led lights are awesome and make using this after dark even more fun. The battery charges quickly and lasts quite a while, the remote works well and the left and right buttons making it roll is seriously cool! My sons absolutely love playing with this rc boat!

This wee boat is cleverly presented in a soda can looking container and is great for keeping your boat in. It responds to the remote control great, holds charge for a long time and it’s a lot of fun to play with in the pool.

Great gift idea for a kid. We gave this to the kids when some get tired of fishing. This gave them something to do, but watch the range. The kids will not and you might end up following it down stream until it beaches somewhere. The can it comes in was a fantastic idea and great presentation for the gift.

I used this mini RC boat with my grandson and I loved it just as much as he did. It’s fast charging with any usb-c cable and lasted around 15 mins on a charge. It comes in a soda can shaped can that my grandson loved. It functioned perfectly in our pool and he played with it all day. I definitely recommend purchasing two, one for yourself and one as a gift.
