I use mini ball heads for my iPhone rigs. Especially lighting. This model is great for that on a Smallrig Brandon Li cage. It sits atop my iPhone 15 Pro Max and I can use my Ulanzi L3 cube light or even the much larger Amaran Ace 25 C. This ball head handles either very well. I chose this one as my fat sausage fingers can easily access the friction knob which itself is large and knurled. Great buy.Recommended.

Does a great job, and has a rotating base, so you can fold over the top at any angle. Really firm for its size.

The product is heavy and feels of quality. I did find it came loose quite easily.I would recommend it to hold light items like a phone.

Over all good. However, no rubber or cork pad is provided on the 1/4" camera tighten ring-nut. This means the camera connection can become loose easily. Also the 3/8" tripod threads are recessed by an 1/8" of and inch. A 1/32" recess would be optimal. This also means the provided 1/4 tripod adaptor is recessed by a 1/16" which could cause issues in durability and stability. If the manufacture improved these two aspects it would be 5 stars.Update: After using it for a few times I notice in rotates clockwise a minute or two when tightening the clamp. Annoying, but I guess single clamp rotating base ball heads to this.

This product deserved a written 5 stars review, which is something I rarely do: it's small, lightweight, high quality and priced right.I bought another ball head for a different boom arm and this one is much better.I'm using it to hold a microphone, but it worked well with a Sony a6300 camera as well.

This is a solid piece of gear. I’ve discovered that these tripod, heads and arca Swiss plate adapters items on Amazon are drastically inexpensive and sometimes better than the big brands. I bought this to replace the head on a table top Manfrotto tripod that cracked due to it being made of pot metal. This one was better and a fraction of the cost

It's small and light, which makes it great to stash in your bag and have whenever. I use it daily as a phone base and every now and then with my dslr, though there you do feel it's limitation in terms of weight bearing

I'm using this to mount a small camera on a Blue Compass boom arm for streaming. The threaded mount goes on just right, the finish matches the Compass, and the big knob makes for easy adjustment -- way better than the little lever most of the mini tripod heads have! Would recommend.
