Bareback saddles do not have any structure, and are not to be confused with a real saddle that utilizes a rigid tree. If a child does not have balance, and leans to one side, all bareback saddles will slide, no matter how tight the cinch is. Stirrups are meant to aid in balance, and not to be used for mounting. Some children balance better with stirrups and some better without. That is why our stirrups are detachable. As with all horse equipment, children should not be without adult supervision. The bareback pad is nice but it does not come with a girth a shown in picture. The bridal fit my full size horse but the bit is for a pony. The bareback pad would not fit a full size horse… As it is made for a pony but the bridal does not fit a pony. My pony is medium large size and the bit falls out of his mouth on the smallest setting. The reins are not long enough for a full-size horse but the headstall only fits a full-size horse.This tack it is all mixed up in sizes

The bareback pad is very disappointing and that must be a doll size saddle rack it is displayed on in the picture

This is an ok saddle for beginners, but it is hard to get it to stay tight.

Used for a pony, but straps were not adjustable enough to fit him well. It also does not cinch & stay tight.
