As a fan of minimalist gear, this metal wallet ticks all the right boxes. It securely holds all my essential cards and keeps cash easily accessible, all while looking sleek and stylish. It's a refreshing upgrade from bulky bifold or trifold wallets. If you're in the market for a minimalist EDC wallet, this one is a top contender. It's not just functional; it's a statement piece that simplifies and elevates your everyday carry.

My 16 year old son is coming of age where he was in need of an upgrade from the old style bifold leather wallet he previously used. This provides an extremely compact design that he absolutely loves. He claims that it is light years ahead of his old wallet and makes him want to actually carry a wallet with him versus my finding him without it on his person most of the time. Superior wallet I would recommend.

This is for the HIESGIE Minimalist Metal Wallet in gunmetal gray. I'll mention the negative up front - as other reviewers note it holds all the cards in one space so it isn't convenient to get one from the middle of the stack. You have to take them nearly all the way out to fan through for the card you need. However, it beats every other minimalist wallet I've owned or even seen in quality. Most important, the metal is finished smooth on the inside and rounded on the edges so no card wear sliding them in and out. This is a big deal because I've had to replace cards with other minimalist wallets due to abrasion from the metal. No elastic expansion tabs. This has expanding metal clips that work great and I see them outlasting elastic or Velcro tabs. The size. It's the same size in width and length as the cards it holds, a good size for front pocket carry. The quality of materials and finish. With other minimalist wallets I've kept my leather folding wallet around in case I needed it when the elastic wore out. I've retired that wallet permanently. Finally the price. Quality leather wallets are expensive and the price for this is low given how long it should last. I'll update this review if durability turns out to be an issue but right now I don't see how that could be.

Lost my wallet, a small bi-fold, which I have had for years and LOVE!!! Started looking for a replacement. I have seen these for a while and decided to give a couple a try. (My wallet was returned to me after I had ordered new ones.)I really like the idea of this one-size-fits-all approach. I have about a dozen items in my wallet, between state and federal ID's. Medical cards. Credit/debit. Membership cards (Zoo, etc.) Plus a few bills for emergencies. I was able to easily fit all of my cards into the space provided, and could have stuck in a few more with no trouble. It was easy to pry open, unlike the other version I tried, which was a bit of a pain to get into.In the photo I have 8 $1 bills folded into the clip. That is about all that will fit, comfortably. My old wallet has 7 slots altogether - including the clear ID slot in the front. This wallet just crams all the cards into the same space. There is a convenient cut-out to push the cards out, but then you have to shuffle through the whole pile to get to the one you need. I find that I prefer the slot approach, so that I can easily access the individual cards, with only two or three, without having to dig through the whole batch.Attractive wallet, just not for me.
