I would never recommend a refurbished computer. I bought this computer came in boxes all broken and the computer keeps crashing

powerful LitTLr machine. Wgetting 60 sniith fps in stasr wars outlaws,wgich according to ubisoft even run with these geapgics. but it is very quirky with multiple displays`. i can only put it toslrrp, if i turn it off completely ````it takes a lot of work to get all the displays bavk on, i have 3. but inyegrated grapgics can bequirky a egpu would [probably fix that issuem, but after spending 400, i don' relish the ida og speabhding another 500 over multi display quirkiness

The Minisforum UM690S seems well put together and had been flawless so far.It is replacing a Windows 10 desktop system that I have had for 10+ years so I admit that my expectations are high -- I have been skeptical about these offshore mini PCs and had a previous bad experience, but after a week, everything works as it should on this one. Time will tell.

It came in well packaged and when I opened it, it looked like new. Love the specs and the storage options. No need to screw the SATA drive, it’ll snap in which is great(taking out can be tricky, try not to snap the plastic).The feet is easily removable to dismantle it. I wish it came with a small screw driver because the holes are fairly small. Luckily I had one that I found.I opened it up and it was easy to upgrade in the future. Setup was easy but took a while for updates. Once it was setup, it’s pretty fast. It’s small and I put a sata drive next to it to let you see how big it is.What got me was the price! Well worth it with the specs it has. I was disappointed that it only has one slot for an m.2 ssd because the pictures says you can do two. There is an open slot for another ram also, which is great. It came with all the accessories you need and so far so good! Love that it’s a 90 day return/ warranty too!

I bought this little refurbished mini PC for my son to play Minecraft, but it wouldn’t even boot right out of the box. Blue screen after blue screen! Out of desperation I even tried to boot into Linux on a USB drive but that wouldn’t work either. The machine just will not boot, period. It’s going back for a refund. Buyer beware!

I really am surprised at the experience I have had with this computer. The computer arrived in the typical Amazon brown box, but when I opened it the box inside was mangled and torn. The computer was haphazardly on top of the power supply and HDMI cable. The rest of the pieces were scattered loosely around the box.It kept crashing during set, but after four or five tries, I finally got it up and running. After a few minutes the computer froze and needed to be restarted. This happened several times until I gave up for the night. The next day, I wasn't able to get the computer to boot at all.It seems like this was just a return that someone else had problems with. I don't think anyone ever looked at it, let along did any kind of refurbishment on the computer. Maybe this one somehow fell through the cracks. I hope when I return it, the next person receives it in working order.
