At first, it looked a bit spotchy, but trust the process—the leather gradually transformed, becoming rich and supple again. While letting the boots sit in warm sunlight might yield even better results, I was short on time and still achieved amazing results.One of the best things about this oil is that it’s clear, so it works on any color of leather. I love love love this product! You can see the before after. Totaly different than standard shoe stuff with the pigment. With this mink oil you literally do not even need the pigment and it just naturally brings back your leather. Which is awesome since otherwise you have to buy all those different colors.The consistency feels a bit runnier than the standard shoe cream on the market, but with good reason. It was so nice to have the applicator to get to those very difficult spots - but honestly this stuff is so nice that i just started rubbing it with my hand.I took my very loved and very used italian leather boots gave them a very good scrubbing and rise then simply blowdry them. Then once they were dry, generously applied the mink oil. You can keep buffing it in and blow drying inbetween coats. It may looks spotchy at first but trust the process. The two tone you see is 4 coats with drying in between. Honestly, it may be better if you put them in the warm sun to allow for the mink oil to naturally absorb, but i had no time for that. Still you can see the leather come back to life before your very eyes.I love that this oil is clear so you can use it on any color leather. I actually started using my fingers after a while and it was totally fine - being quite a natural product.The product also go quite a long way. All 4 coats for these shoes and I only used maybe a small dent. I suspect I will be reviving quite many pairs. I wear a size 7 in womens so you mileage may vary.As a leather shoe and bag lover, I would definitely buy this again - way better than those standard color smelly shoe wax you get in the store.

(Think mud and other farm substances!!) They tend to look well worn, because they aren't just for 'dressing up to look like a cowboy'!!I cleaned my boots and let them dry throughly. Once they were dry I applied the mink oil, (not skimping!). Since I have other boots as well, I was able to let them set between layers of the mink oil so they could dry. I probably applied three or four coats of the mink oil, allowing the coats to dry in between. The mink oil did its trick and after soaking in and drying the boots are again looking great and the leather isn't as dry and is much more bendable.And the price is right on and it comes with an applicator for those not wanting to use their hands.

I have able use use the Mink oil on several vintage leather applications on boots, purses , and a vintage leather mens leather duffle bag more the late 60s. The duffle bag had the best transformation, the leather absorbed the Mink oil and the leather became more pliable again. It's a very ease application, just rub the oil on with the applicator , and let it absorb. It takes no time at all with great looking results. A great conditioner. It does darken the leather a little bit , so keep that in mind , but u will get that with any similar products.

I only had a small piece of leather I needed to deal with in this mink oil did the trick this works like other meat oils where it goes on rubs and wipes off and everything is protective it made my leather felt nice and soft and gave it a good sheen. I have no complaints And thought it worked perfectly five stars given.
