No extra pockets inside or out… not durable enough for a 5th grade backpack. Son uses it for overnight or football day. Zipper broke within first week. Luckily we just use the other side of zipper.

I bought this for my boyfriend who is a huge Dallas fan. He loved that it has his name on it and his favorite number. The quality is good as well. He was a little disappointed that the bag isn't very big so it can not hold everything he needed it for.
