This stainless steel pipe is nicely made. The inflow end swivels in any direction. My only problem is that the clamp that holds it on the edge of the tank is tiny and doesn’t hold well. Any movement of the tubing dislodges it.

(My NEW review after 3 weeks use in the tank) - I really wanted to like these. The cost was fairly high - given that these ship direct from China, but even given the awesome styling of these pipes, the "stainless" steel from which they are fashioned has begun to rust after 3 weeks exposed to freshwater. I doubt these are made from stainless at all - super attractive to a magnet - and I know that 304 will attract a magnet, but not like this stuff does. Good looking product, but I suggest giving it a hard pass unless you want rusty pipes in your tank.(my original pre-rust review) Since it appears I am the first person to order a set of these stainless pipes, figured I would give the inflow at least a review (outflow still in transit).First off, these are not cheap to buy - you can get a set of stainless pipes for less on Amazon. The thing that attracted me to them was the design with the round perforations on the intake strainer and the aluminum block attachment to the aquarium lip.These were fairly well packaged in a bublewrap mailer inside of a soft styrofoam inner. Initial thoughts the tubing is pretty thick - you won't accidentally bend it, quite heavy gauge. The strainer is nice and attaches to the main tube snugly because of a couple of rubber rings set into the stainless tube. The strainer is very nicely machined, and the entire assembly is nicely brushed. The included aluminum rim clamp is quite nice - it uses metal set screws which have a plastic nub set into a hollow in the set screw. I will add some sort of rubber or plastic backing to the side that goes against the glass though just to make sure the metal does not mar the tank.So far, nice quality. I have only given this 4 out of 5 stars because: 1) this is an unknown item - this is an initial review, and I have no information on the longevity of this, whether it will rust, etc., and 2) because Amazon did not let me know immediately right in the listing that this would be shipping directly from China.I will update the review in a few months to let people know whether I see any rust or not on either the intake or the outlet (which shipped separately from who knows where).
