I give it one star only because there isn't a zero star rating. These belts had been in storage for a few years, but when I had to use them they literally fell apart. The tape holding them together came undone. Do not buy this crummy product. Brand new belts that fall apart after one or two minutes on the sander.

Was suppose to be 40 grit. It has the grit of 120. Not useful at all for project intended.

Works great on my belt sander. I have be sanding my red wood deck boards prior to applying a finish. These belts gave me a even smooth finish. Not sure how long they should last but I sanded about 200 ft of 2x6 redwood before I had to apply excessive pressure to make them work well. Then I would change belts and do it again. The belts never broke no matter how aggressive i got. I would buy them again.

I was sanding off all the old paint on my deck. My HF sanding belts were breaking every 10 minutes or so. Some would break at the seams, and some would split the long way. I wish I discovered these at the beginning of my job. They are very durable in two ways. They do not break easily, actually I used them for a while and they did not break. The course aggregate is durable as well, wearing down slower than the cheaper ones. I was happy with the length of use I got out of these before it wore down and needed to be replaced.

I have used many different Mirka sanding products and have always been very happy. They last longer than many other products and cost less. The results are outstanding. I don't even consider other brands now.

The Mirka 3x21 sanding belt was priced right and performed well. I've been belt sanding old floors and these belts really hold up. I've used several belts and so far none have broke and all have been uniform in fit and quality.
