The Mission Darkness Smart Meter Cloak is used to block RF emissions, specifically harmful EMF radiation, coming from electricity meters referred to as "smart meters." Smart meters are generally affixed to a wall of a home or building, where they record information surrounding the consumption of energy and report it to the energy/utility company. This wireless communication produces a great amount of EMF emissions in close proximity to the building, which many people find dangerous to their health. Since smart meters cannot be removed from your property, the only way to reduce your exposure to this constant radiation is by shielding the meter with a fitted RF/EMF cover. Placing the Smart Meter Cloak over a smart meter absorbs the EMF waves and prevents the emissions from going inside your house/building. The cover is a safe and effective way to reduce your household's exposure to smart meter emissions.
The Smart Meter Cloak is constructed with a double layer of 1/6" stainless steel mesh, offering extreme support and shielding abilities. The stainless steel lid has two latches and faraday compression gaskets for a tight and secure seal. When needed, a technician can open the lid and view the smart meter screen through the top layer mesh, so the Smart Meter Cloak never needs to be removed. Installation is made easy with the stainless steel mesh pull tab and double screw clamp for securing the base ring over your smart meter. The kit includes weather-proof foam strips in two sizes that can be used to line the rim of the Smart Meter Cloak, to accommodate various size meters. The high-quality materials will not rust, corrode, or leak RF over time.

Unique & Secure Closure Method
The stainless steel lid uses two latches and a faraday compression gasket to create a tight RF secure seal when closed. Even when the lid is opened, the top layer steel mesh (underneath the lid) maintains the EMF shielding so the Smart Meter Cloak never needs to be removed.
Easy Installation
Installs in minutes! Place the Smart Meter Cloak over your meter, trim the exposed mesh to accommodate any protruding elements, then tighten the clamp around the base of your meter using the included hardware and a screw driver. No grounding wires necessary.

I’m a skeptical person. I don’t believe anything I hear and half of what I see. I know manufacturers of products are always trying to trick you to get you to waste your money to buy stuff so I’m by nature less trusting of things that I buy. I was absolutely skeptical that the smart meter cloak would work and I figured what the heck 100$ and Amazon return… let’s see what happens. I didn’t do any EMF testing. I didn’t do any RF test testing. I just put it on for shiggles. The past three days that I’ve had it on I’ve had some of the best and deepest sleep that I’ve had in 2 or 3 years. The last time I had a good night sleep was before they replaced the meter for a smart meter 2-3 years ago. I can’t tell you to buy it and I can’t tell you it will even work for you but as a skeptic, I’m pretty surprised.

This is very well made and worth the price. You definitely get what you pay for.I only used about half a piece of the supplied weather stripping to get a snug fit on my meter. It took about 10 minutes to completely install including measuring the correct amount of weather stripping I needed to use for a snug fit. I only needed a medium size Phillips Screwdriver and a pair of Scissors to do the entire installation...Once I saw several videos online about these newer digital power meters and the EMF they put off it was an eye opener! It's no suprise how the FCC doesn't protect us from EMF on a good many devices! Educate and protect yourself and your family!

But I had to stretch out my cloak to fit my meter. Does its job fairly well, I live in apartment building full of radiation. Sadly this doesn't fix radiation coming from neighbors but will help significantly for your own apartment.

This durable cover works great to protect the meter digital readout and clear plastic cover from the sun! Without this cover my electric meter will be unreadable in 1-2 years. I live in Las Vegas and the intense sun burns out the meter display and causes clear plastic to yellow.

I bought an EMF meter that measures radio frequency field, electric field and magnetic field EMFs. I took readings of all 3 types of EMFs with the cloak on and off, and the cloak failed to make any significant difference on EMF levels from a health perspective. If you stand a few feet away from the smart meter or measure inside the house near where the meter is, the EMF readings are zero with or without the cloak. The only use for this cover is not for your health, but for slightly blocking radio frequencies, perhaps making it like a non-communicating meter. But why pay for a cloak when you can get a non-communcating meter for free (from my power company at least)? The radio frequency reading on the uncloaked smart meter was 0.05mW/m2 - 0.07mW/m2, and zero with the cloak...so this cloak makes only a tiny difference. I don't think this cloak is worth spending money on.
