I like this misting fan more than a larger model I use around the farm and at events. It isn't that it is that much better, or that the larger one is bad, but I just find some things about this one to be preferable.I wish you could put more water in it, but I also like the size so I don't know how you would make a larger tank.The fan works great. Good speeds, and it isn't too loud. I like that there is some fan noise; after all, I like the white noise of a fan in many settings. Anyway, it moves air well. Feels powerful, but it can be gentle.As with most plastic things, we'll see what happens to it years down the road after many a camping trip, but the price of this is good, so I will be happy if it makes it a few years.I also like the lights on this, which is one interesting thing to me because I don't like similar lights on a larger model I have. Go figure. Maybe it just speaks to this having a better design. Like I said earlier, it is hard to put my finger on it, but there are things about this fan I prefer despite the larger fan being stronger and holding more water.

This fan is better than I thought it would be. It is fairly quiet but has good air flow on high speed. The colors you can turn on is a nice touch, especially if you use it at night. I like the misting part since it helps keeping you cool. However, the rubber plug to hold the water end came off and does not keep the water out since it leaks a bit. When you need to adjust the angle you have to move it until it clicks which sounds like you are breaking it. I'm not sure of the overall quality thus I gave it only 4 stars. However, it is a useful fan that is portable and the battery lasts a very long time. I tested this out but turning on the color and low speed which lasted non-stop for 13 hours. That is pretty good.

I live in the south and it gets super hot here that even when you have ceiling fans outside it doesn’t help with the heat. They basically just throw the heat around more. I wanted to try a fan that mist water on hot days to see if it would help keep cooler. We’ve had some pretty hot days here already. When I take my dog out, I test this fan.The first thing you'll notice is how compact it is. To me, that’s perfect because I have it setting on a small table next to me. When you turn this thing on, you immediately feel a difference in temperature. It’s not super hot here yet, but I know this fan will help when it is.It has buttons on the front. You can use the fan with or without the misting. I’m using the misting to see how often I have to fill it with water. So far, I’ve only put water once since opening it a couple of weeks ago. I have to admit that I don’t always use the misting feature. The fan has low, medium, and high. When it’s on high, it’s a little loud like most fans. It also comes with lights. It has all different settings you can use if you want. I doubt very seriously if we will be using those.The fan is rechargeable and can run off the battery alone without having to use an outlet. As for us, we just keep it plugged into an outlet we have outside. We did let it run all day without it being plugged in to see how long the battery lasted. It was almost 7.5 hours before it stopped running.It says that it has a power bank that you could use to charge your phone. That will come in handy if your power is out. You’ll be able to charge your phone and stay cool with this little fan. We have not tried the power bank so I don’t know if that would hurt the battery time or not. I do know this is a great fan. It’s appealing to the eye and does basically everything it’s described as doing.
