They don't hold 40lbs. No way. Easy to install. Sturdy for lighterweight shower items. Sticky but if you get them wet before they dry, forget it. Not Easy to remove at all. Until they fall off themselves they don't budge. It's just all of a sudden PLOP! Decent value for the money

Make sure to read the instructions. You need too follow them or ypu may have to order more self adhesive hooks. I used the self adhesive sheets on stone.

They came in very handy as replacements. They are very sticky as well so they get the job done.
