First i must say it is very comfortable to sit on for a long time BUT..You can't seem to keep the locking wing nut tight for the seat adjustment and the seat keeps coming lose..Update!! After a year of light use the base snapped in half and way out if return window.Buyer beware of cheap metal tubing.

I weigh a shy under 400 lbs and have had to buy every stool out there to try.I end up going to the local Ace Hardware to get a 3" or 4" long 1" diameter PVC pipe to add as a stop on my stool. It's been working for the last 20 years on any drum stool ; the $3 perma-fix, as I call it. That is on TOP of the $250 at least spent on a stool...This $80 stool needs nothing and supports me Comfortably. I will ALWAYS keep this drum stool in my Q.By the way, I'm a bass player and I NEED a stool that's comfortable, and allows me to play my bass at the perfect strap height sitting on my stool.FINALLY, I found a stool that is value for the money. The thick padding, velour feel is just right.
