I ordered this in March of 2018. Had to send it back because it didn't work. They sent a new one, it always jammed on the mixed bill settings, which is what a wanted it for. It also does not detect counterfeit bills like stated. Now it does not count the money at all. Do not buy this machine!

This is my second mixed value counter from Carnation. The first one was purchased about 5 years ago – I didn’t do much in the way of maintenance, and finally it came to a point that purchasing a new one made more sense (a service contract from a local technician would have cost a year what I paid for the counter). I have received an e-mail that they have launched a new model in the beginning of 2017, and decided to give it a try. Wow, it’s a completely different ball game! First of all, this new machine is two pocket rather than the old version one pocket, which means, if it encounters a fake bill, the counting will continue. This is a huge improvement for me, since with the other machine I always had to recount, as I wasn’t sure whether the last bill was included in the count or not. Also, this new model can be connected to a printer (took some doing, though - EPSON TM-T88 worked for me as per their customer service suggestion), but even if you connect it to a PC, you can print out using a normal PC printer rather than the thermal one. There’s also a serial number recognition function – no use to me, really, I guess the banks need it more. It can be turned off when not needed. This machine is a bit heavier than the old version because of the two pockets, which may be a concern for those who need to carry it around. As I use mine in the back office – no problem at all. As with the other machine, you need to keep it covered when not in use, and clean regularly – it’s full of sensors, and the dust can be a killer, as with any electronics, in fact. All in all, a real upgrade from the previous version.

This unit has worked as advertised. It is quieter than I expected (quieter than my older bill counter) and it has exceeded my expectations. I have used it numerous times - more than 15. Simply put, I am thrilled with this product!!!

On time delivery.Purchased as a gift. No complaints so I guess this product is good. I ordered another Counter first, but recipient did not like it and asked me to return it.

This bill counter meets all of our expectations. Quick delivery, plug in ready, user friendly and a huge time saver. I would recommend this counter for anyone needing a mixed bill counter.

This machine was clearly designed by a person with little understanding on how to make it work correctly. Yes, it's 1/5th the cost of the models from the US major firms, but you get what you pay for. Stopped working after several dozen uses over six months and have never been able to get it going again. Beware.
