I have used the 15lbs tumbler almost continuously for 2 years. It does the job really well. First the negative. There is no on and off switch. I would like one so I didn’t have to get down to unplug it. There is no timer. This is ok because I do my tumbling on a week schedule, but it would be nice if I was away. The belts seem to wear out quickly. Could be better. They sell a heavier belt. Get it instead. Do not use in cold weather. My work station is in the garage in Utah. The cold wreaks havoc on the belts. I moved it inside for the winter.Positives. The housing is very strong. Motor never hiccups. Their customers service is great and supplies arrive quickly. They offer bulk medium which saves time and money. And usually send out coupons for $5 dollars off your next purchase. The barrels are PVC. and show some wear after 2 years but still going strong. I love it and 15lbs keeps ahead of my jewelry business making necklaces bolos and stone accented leather products. I’m going to buy 30 or 20 lbs tumbler in a month or two so can keep them going. Really like it. Remember they need to be lubricated every 5-6 days with lithium spray. Makes them a little messy.

This tumbler does not have any controls. No timer, no speed adjustment, not even an on/off switch. For the price there should be more controls. In addition, the barrels are plastic and have glued in paddles; which means they will wear out faster.

Fantastic machine at a great value and built simply so it's easy to understand. Been running mine everyday for almost two years. I had a breakdown from a bearing seizing up and MJR's customer service was wonderful. They shipped out the replacement parts at a very reasonable cost and had me back up and running in no time. The repair was straight forward and it made me more familiar with my machine. After repairing it, I realized that this is a lifetime product and I couldn't be more satisfied with the quality of the device, or the customer support. It reminded me of the acronym - KISS (Keep It Simple, stupid!). I was hesitant to purchase because I learned my craft from a gentleman using Diamond Pacific, but I couldn't afford that brand's product. I am entirely happy that I found MJR and the results are identical to what I was aiming for out of DP.
