Once this guy was replaced, the ice maker and water outlet started pouring once again. The part looks exactly like the OEM one I pulled out from the bottom of the fridge. As far as I'm concerned, these are consumables. LG did not do a great job of making it easy to get to and replace.

Perfect product. The outlet water line was bigger than previous valve but after buying reducer from 5/16 to 1/4 water was hooked up. Also had to cut the wire off the old valve and add connectors but easy enough. Just a little bit of extra work but happy with the end result.

Our water and ice dispenser stoped working on our LG refrigerator. We determined this valve was bad. It was a very simple install and our icemaker and water are working perfectly now.

This part fit my frig and was easy to replace. It was half the price I found on other sites. Very pleased.

Perfect fit for my LG LFX25971ST refrigerator with water just a trickle from the water dispenser. Some repair sites said this did not fit but it was the exact part and part number as the original. I first replaced the dual valve inside the door which controls water dispenser and ice machine flows. There was no change in the water from the dispenser. Then I replaced this main valve which is located in the back of the unit at the bottom where the water is connected. Save the little locking clips from your old valves. This did not come with the locking clips to lock-in the water tubing. Plenty of how-to videos on appliance repair sites show how to replace this (and pull hose out after removing the locking clip and pressing down on the valve inlet to release the tubing).

My LG refrigerator water dispenser started to flow very slow; pressure at the line was normal and the filter wasn't clogged, which left this valve as the only other possible culprit. I replaced the valve which took only a few minutes, and the water flows like brand new again. Pricing was very fair and it seems to be an exact replacement for the original.
