I guess I don’t have the right apps these controllers work for on my phone. I e tried to adjust the controllers on other apps and they just don’t line up with most of the apps I use

I have had a plethora of game controllers for my phone over the last handful of years and I always keep extras on hand since they tend to break easily for me (I'm a habitual phone dropper). When I got these, I intended for them to be backup to my favorite controller, which I have purchased roughly 8 times in the past two years. Well the day they were set to arrive, I broke my favorite controller again. Insert big surprise here. So I started using these immediately and they have been my main controller for over a month now. My biggest disappointment with these is that they don't fit my phone with the case on. Well, I should say they only fit on one side of my phone with the case on. However, this wasn't the companies fault, which is why I didn't deduct a star. The description states exactly how wide the opening for the clamp is, and even though I measured my case, I neglected to measure the side with the back camera cover on it. The top of my phone is just slightly larger than the bottom (which is where I measured). So now I take my phone out of its case when I play. And while some may find this task annoying, I find the task of repeatedly purchasing the same controller annoying because if you even set your phone down with slight force, the clamps snap off. I will gladly take removing the case from my phone as a trade off. I don't have any issues with delayed reaction or the controllers sticking. They make an audible click, which I have come to prefer in controllers. Ever so occasionally, I get a little to into my game, and I end up slightly moving one control but this doesn't happen often enough for it to be the controllers issue. It's the users issue. So overall, I'm pleasantly happy with these. They seem to be more durable than the one piece over the phone controllers and that is my biggest pro.
