This didn't work as described. It's not sensitive enough. The range is 0 to 199mw/CM2 but there is just that ONE range. Direct sunlight, pointing meter at the Sun on a bright sunny day is 8mw/CM2. So there is no use of the range above 10mw/CM2 unless you work with lasers. Held directly on a Full LED light used for magification ( a 10" circule with magnifying glass) type light and you get 3mw/CM2. This is a very strong LED light that you wouldn't normally look into. 1ft away it is 1.5mw/CM2. Any other light, the meter registers 0. Impossible to work with small blue light sources.Update: I noticed they do have a "Bilirubin" model which has a 0-1999uW/Cm2 sensitivity (essentially 0 to 2mw/CM2). I bumped up to 2 stars only as it should be easy to sell one unit with both ranges and the cut/paste of the features/capability from that model to this.
