If like me you struggled to find a cover that fits over your existing antenna (because for some reason Hyundai sonatas have this chronic issue of losing the caps) then this is the only one that fit over the green GPS tail for me. I tried more than 10 others that claimed they were the right size for my 2018 sonata sport and this was the only one that worked. You will need to do some DYI and remove the aerial inside of it and maybe shave down the sides because it won’t lay flush with the curved roof. But once you do that it covers your existing antenna perfectly and needs a glue down! Also sucks that they don’t have it in other colors but again, it fits and is temporarily helping to prevent any damage to my antenna parts!

The quality is okay. It does work and will cover the green fin. But for it to work, you’ll have to remove all the internal attachments in the cover and use some kind of adhesive to keep it on the car. I used JB Weld, seems like everyone’s recommendation. Note that the cover won’t seal onto the car perfectly either. There were gaps in the front and back of the cover after putting it on. I did a first run using the JB weld to keep the cover still and after it dried, I ran a 2nd run to seal the gaps. Overall doesn’t look too bad but it’s not OEM. The adhesive is clear so it won’t stand out unless your actually looking for it. Cheapest option since Hyundai doesn’t seem to offer a cover only piece and will charge over $300 (excluding labor) for a new assembly. I don’t do reviews too often but figured this will help since it took me hours and several trials of “Amazon Sponsored Recommendations” to find a working piece. If you decide to use a different piece/brand, make sure the cover is at least 3” tall.

The shark fin radio signal antenna on my 2015 Hyundai Sonata fell off when I took it through a car wash. Twice. The second time it was damaged so I needed a replacement. This one works quite well and is easy to install. You may have to adjust it, internally, so that the radio antenna fits well because it's not quite as tall as the original one. The color is so close to my car paint color that nobody even notices it.

The Modengzhe Mounting Shark Fin is hollow inside. Its's perfect to cover an antenna base that has the green shark fin sticking up. It does fit my 2017 Hyundai Sonata... it fits tight and the radio works fine.I haven't been through the car wash yet, but after using the tape that the shark fin came with, I do recommend either mounting it down with the screws it came with or purchasing a stronger adhesive tape to hold the antenna in place.

With a bit of trimming and removal of the internal antenna elements, this radome saved $700 over the OEM replacement. The existing antenna was functional and highly integrated. All I needed was a radome. None is available. The modification required were easily accomplished and will be obvious to anyone considering this product.
