When remodeling our lower level we decided to add an electric fireplace but still wanted a mantle for aesthetics and to keep the heat from going to our tv that would be mounted above. The color is rich and matches our stair railing perfectly. The installation wasn’t difficult although the instructions were for multiple mantles so we kind of had to figure out which to do. This particular mantle has a square board that it sits on so it has to be nailed into the board to hold it in place. The wood quality is very nice. I also appreciate the size of it. I feel it’s a good value for the money.

It is fine. Overpriced sloppily stained pine with nail holes not filled in on the front. Does the job, but if you have the time, DIY, your quality will be similar.

The perfect fireplace mantel to replace our old one. The mantel arrived well packaged with no signs of damage from shipping. The provincial color option ended up looking exactly as it does in the listing photos and it's a beautiful stain color that ended up pairing with my floors almost perfectly. The only thing I recommend is getting a thicker cut piece of wood to use as a hanging board instead of the one that comes provided since I found it to be too small and unreliable to hold up such a large piece, especially if you plan on placing ornaments or decorations on top of this mantel. But other than that, this mantel is a pretty good find. It looks great, it's pretty solid, and it was fairly easy to mount over my fireplace. Definitely recommend!

The look and quality is very nice. The black was not as black as we wanted so we lightly sanded it and stained it a darker black. You could still see the wood grain! Took stain well and we LOVE it now. Best mantle you can buy for the price even if you have to alter it a bit. Easy to put up.

i got mine in raw wood because i am still designing my home and was not sure what i thought would look good so i wanted to be able to paint it without the stain bleeding or anything like that. i did end up painting it, two coats looks amazing

This gorgeous, 72 inch mantle would look great with any Decour, it goes with everything. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it. I have not decided what to use this for yet, but I am thinking I may just use it as a long shelf, but it is intended for a mantle, and would probably look fast as a mantle rest assured, it is solid and quality material.
