This skill trainer is high quality - Its accessories are large enough to practice with ease and accurate to the space needed for each skill to be executed on a real patient.The feeling of the flesh pads when inserting a needle is very life like and has layers of tension as you would feel when drawing blood or starting an IV. I repeatedly used the intravenous pad to test the material durability, and -as long as I didn't place an IV catheter in at an absurd angle- the leftover marks were almost invisible. There was no issue with tape or any type of adhesive medical supplies leaving behind residue or sticking properly. The kit came with three different skin tones which was a nice touch and the features of the face, female genitals, and wound are decently realistic in their flexibility.The stands that all the accessories attach to are sturdy, I feel like I can push on the face without fear of knocking it over. I appreciate that all the accessories are easily popped in and out and fit nicely with the stands in the original box or the drawstring bag LAERDAL provides. I use the LAERDAL bag to hold my medical supplies that I’ve accumulated for practice.The only downsides to this kit are that you must obtain all the medical supplies needed to use it yourself; I still haven't gotten to use the urinary catheter or central line accessories because obtaining those supplies is difficult. Additionally, there is no real flesh-like "look" to the accessories. You have to imagine veins and other bodily landmarks that would typically be used to judge placement of medical devices.
