As part of a bathroom remodel, I changed my Moen tub trim from builder's chrome to brushed nickel. The original overflow plate had two screws, but the updated trims only have one screw, which looks neater. This adapter allows a change from two screws to one. Plate is aluminum, the mounting screws are brass and the center screw is a brushed nickel finish. VG quality materials from Moen.

Overpriced, but what are you gonna do when you need one of these in a hurry to finish a job? Moen really should include this with the drain kit and overflow cap with center hole that we already purchased.

Used this to convert a two hole overflow cover into a single hole Moen overflow. The piece feels well made and worked great.

I wanted to get rid of my ancient two-hole bathtub drain plate and install a new Moen brushed nickel single-hole plate. This did the trick handily.By far the hardest part of installing this was removing the gunk-encrusted old plate and its attached hardware (it had a long-disused lever connected to who knows what back in there). The two screws holding on the old plate were actually somewhat off-center, another reason to discard it.Once the old stuff was removed, the mounting screws fit just fine. I did not need the center screw for my project. Nice to be able to adjust the position to compensate for the poor alignment of the old screw holes.

Worked perfectly to convert our two hole overflow pipe so it could accommodate the single hole (comes with its own screw so there's no need to use the funny looking one this comes with). It's quite straightforward. Install the bracket into the existing overflow pipe using the two brass screws and install the overflow cover on top using the hole in the middle. Done!

Hard to find part. A bit expensive for what it is and shipping was way more than it really cost them but it is what I needed and that's what was important.
