My mistake for not taking the time to read reviews. I highly doubt it’s a Moen, price should have clued me in on that. Delivery was delayed, and now I see it’s on website for half the price as what I paid. Photo of item was not anything like the actual item that I received… very misleading. Also, this is aluminum, no chrome here. Overall, very disappointed with this purchase.

Easy to cut with a pipe cutter. My first one held up well for the shower curtain and clothes hangers on it. Lasted 35 years. So replaced it with the same thing. Like it. Amazing buy.

Honestly I was bit skeptical about this rod because of how cheap it was, but it looks great. I wanted a solid mounted shower rod because they look a bit nicer than the spring mounted ones. This matched the chrome fixtures well and despite being pretty light and flimsy gets the job done just fine. The first one did arrive bent, but the second one made it just fine. I can't imagine Amazon makes any money on these things since the shipping box is huge and very likely to get bent on its voyage.

If you think Chrome means Chrome-plated it is not, don't trust the specs on the Moen site that say it is "triple chrome-plated". Basic aluminum rod with no plating, not really well polished either. Rub your thumb against it and it will turn black. On top of it mine came in back bent from shipping, no wonder as Amazon packed it in a flattened box that had no rigidity to protect the rod. No flanges, but you already know that if you read the description. Sending it back promptly.

This pipe is very thin gage and the seam is visible. I was very disappointed in the quality. The sheen on the photo and sleek lines on the photo are deceptive. You get what you pay for. I didn't even bother to install it. Quality chrome tubes are 5 times this price.
