It's a nice faucet. The problem I have is with an instant on gas water heater it takes time for the instant hot water to reach the faucet. It's about 30 feet away. It's useless for the hot water features.

We had a S75005SRS one already installed and we love it so much a=that we decided to use this one in the small kitchen upstairs. Since we already had the taller model in use for a few months, we knew what an amazing product we were getting and all the pros and (very few) cons. Actually one of the only minor disadvantages of the previous S75005SRS one that we have in the main kitchen is that its a bit tall and interestingly enough this S55005SRS one is of standard height!Like all other Moen products, the faucet comes well packed with not much loose in the box. No marks or spots or anything on the item and finish was perfect! Everything is 100% metal and Moen has not cut corners by adding plastic pieces in their box yet. All parts were also included and we didn't need any trips to Home Depot to install this. All we needed was then and there right in the box. Both me and my husband are very familiar with Moen fixtures and have installed several these past few years so installation didn't take us long. It is a relatively heavy faucet and it makes the installation just a little hard but obviously it's only because of the high quality of the product. After installation, obviously the weight doesn't matter anymore. Installation takes less than an hour if you know what you're doing or have done a kitchen sink faucet replacement before.Contrary to the S75005SRS that cannot work in smaller kitchens and sinks, S55005SRS works perfectly well in smaller kitchens and with smaller sinks. Amazingly nice looking faucet with spot resist finish. The spot resist lever comes pre-installed and the black one is sitting there in the box, make sure you don't lose it if you're not using it, it might come in handy in the future. Replacing the lever with a black one is not that simple and easy, I recommend finding the video online and checking it out if you want to do it.Like other new Moen faucets there's no escutcheon or flanges and the faucet sits flush with the surface of the stone or tile that gives it a very nice luxury look. Installation becomes a little more complicated but still doable as a DIY.The spot resist color on Moen products is not just a marketing gimmick, they've actually figured it out. While not impossible to leave water spots on the faucet, it rarely happens and you don't need to clean your faucet every day if you want a clean one.Like it's taller brother, something that makes this family a little different from other faucets is that the hose and sprayer on these extend from the inside of the stem and move in and out independently. There's a release button just behind the stem and the rest is similar to all other faucets after they are released. the weighted mechanism under the sink is also standard like all other fixtures. The aerator is has a good strong spray power and there's a very limited amount of splash unless used on a very small or shallow sink. The pressure control is very safe and reliable and what you expect from an expensive high end product.Overall, an amazing spot resistant kitchen fixture with excellent finish and high quality parts with great design and build. If something was to be improved, I'd say making a matching (or adding into the box for that matter) of a matching soup/dish dispenser is a great addition to the product. Many of us love our dish-soap dispensers and would love to have a matching one.

So I got this as a secondary faucet to the S75005, which is for the main kitchen faucet. That one as a pull down head, which this one doesn't, so it fits more in the bathroom. Therefore, the two makes a great combo if you have a small place like mine with only two faucets total and want them to look complementary.I thought that since this is the lower, cheaper model, that there were some compromises, but as far as I can tell the lack of the pull down head (and the subsequent lack of an elongated inner water tube) is the only difference. The fit and finish is exquisite and Moen-caliber. Especially this series, these faucets look and are built like a tank. I think the look is polarizing and not everyone will love it, but for me it is a strong, modern look that goes well with a modern-style studio or high-rise condo.I can't tell you about installation as these things are too expensive for me to mess them up installing them myself, so I had a professional friend who did it for me. It took him almost an hour to take out the old faucet and replace it with this one. So your times may vary on what you need to do, but I don't see it being any different that any other faucets. There are no special or extra parts and make this some unique or custom install.I got the spot resistant version, which is another way of saying it's not the chrome-y shiny look, but instead it's the brushed nickel look, which I prefer over a shiny look for this style. Plus, it is so much easier to be lazy and not have to wipe it down every few days since chrome is notorious for attracting water stains.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this faucet, as I have been with all my Moen faucets so far. They are one of the top 5 brands in this industry. I others I also recommend are Grohe, Delta, and American Standard.

Got this for the wet bar to match the new faucet for the kitchen sink. Little bigger than we needed, but still a decent size. Did not realize that the spout pulls out. Interesting, and a little awkward. Does not pull out far. Probably will not use that feature too much.....
