I have to say, this puppy works. I order two flavors of this. The other type was the 4 tool package and hoped it would work. But from the reviews, I knew it was a slim chance. As per Murphy's Law, the 4 tool package showed up first. And did not work. After pulling two wires out of the pins themselves on the atx connector. I then stopped and waited for this extraction tool to show.Right out of the package, I had the connector off all the wires in a couple of minutes tops. So don't waste your time with the other stuff, buy this and save yourself the trouble, not to mention dollars wasted.

For the money I paid for this tool that lasted me 5 seconds out of the bag, I bought 2,4 piece sets of an other brand tool that I have yet to come close to breaking after re wire/plugging my entire gaming PC, I in all honesty cannot recommend this tool at the price I paid...

I didn't expect it to work so well. The tool allows me to gently remove male and female Mini-Fit Jr pins, without damaging the whiskers. The trick is to push the pin up from the wire side of the connector while sliding the tines of the tool down the whisker sides of the pins.

It was just what I needed for my work place. On the machines I work on there is a board I have to reset allmost on a daily basis. I was using paper clips molded for the purpose. But this tool makes it so easy reset these boards Would recommend it to everyone

maybe it's me... it works fine on the shorter side of the Molex Mini-fit Jr. plug (I'll call this the "male" side), but the other side of the plug with the pins set deeper (the "female" side") it seems like the arms aren't long enough to reach in to disengage the pin from the connector body. It seems that if the arms were longer it would be easier... but I think this tool is exactly as spec'd by Molex, so maybe i'm using it incorrectly or something.
