This kept my dip cold for most of the day. I only added ice once. Be sure to wash it really good before you use it. When I dried it, there was gray on the towel from the metal bowl.

This doesn't seem too bad, smaller than I thought, but not bad. Not sure how long it will last since it is PLASTIC, and there is this dial on the lid which also has numbers - what is this for? There is NO mention or directions included as to what this is, what its purpose is or how to use it? Wouldn't you think it would be referenced somewhere? Not even in the description online on the amazon website - wow, guess we are to be mind readers now - so sad.

Used to take dips to work or parties and had to put ice in bowl or pan that leaked or spilled. This is a Great option, wish they would have had 25 years ago! Love it
